Do you ever design something and think to yourself: this looks good. And then two months later you glance back and you go: oh my god this is so mediocre how could I have thought I was finished before?
That’s how I’m feeling about the layout for my portfolio site, which I never finished building anway. I’m thinking when I go back to redo it, I’ll make it something like the above image?

But I think mine will be made out of dollar store chinese lanterns and pinatas and cheap foil garlands… oh my god it’s going to be awesome.
The colors in this photo are so gorgeous. Reminds me of Gauguin.

these crackers were made by me and my boy sebs as a christmas mailout for Madmedia.after screenprinting my illustrations we cut+folded+glued+tied 100 of these beauts in time for christmas.phew! seems like years ago already.actually im quite happy about that memory being distant.
The actual packaging is so ingeniously simple and it looks EXTRA awesome because it’s decorated with a jumble of quasi clip art.
I am reminded of Nickelodeon Magazine. This aesthetic is surely coming back. It’s going to be the New retro, super-fly look.
